I could use some guidance out there! Im in the Philadelphia area. My background is in the credit world. My most recent job was an Auto Underwriter with Wells Fargo. I was recently displaced 3 months ago. I have never in my entire banking career have been in this position. I have utilized every networking option I know of. No one is hiring? Job fairs are found to be very cold and there seems to be no one who will take the time and just sit down and talk to you one on one anymore. Everything must go through a resume screening on line first. This includes the job fairs that they tell you to bring resumes to. Once you attempt to personally hand them a resume, they tell you it must be submitted on line? Any ideas out there?
